Yoga Retreat November 27-29, 2026

Step into Stillness: An Advent Weekend Retreat

The serene surroundings of Lake Hjorten offer space to rest, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

Join us for a weekend of yoga, meaningful conversations, and quiet reflection—offering rest for body and mind as we enter the season of stillness. Held during the first weekend of Advent, this is a time to gently shift inward, to tend to your inner landscape, and to reconnect with what matters most.

This weekend, we will also explore self-care as a practice of listening to ourselves and responding with care. Alongside yoga and reflection, the warmth of the sauna and simple Korean body care rituals offer time to slow down and give the body gentle attention.

Yoga Retreat March 22-24, 2024

Yoga Practice

Our morning classes starts with meditation followed by a theme-based asana class. The class will be well-rounded, and we will work toward a peak pose. The asana practice is taught in such a way that you will learn to practice according to your own body and while building your practice through intelligent and safe sequencing.

The afternoon sessions will be softer and shaped by what I observe during the morning. We’ll apply a therapeutic approach to asana, adapting the practice to meet what is needed.

In the evening before going to bed we end the day with some group reflection and meditation.

Philosophy

Studying philosophy helps us think clearly and seek new and better answers to problems. During the philosophy discussions, we will explore our mind’s conditioning and question our beliefs so that we may move closer to what is our own truth.
